Seeking a consultant with advanced DFP business/data content knowledge and hands-on revenue stream processing experience supporting multiple campaigns, product types, etc. Work includes revenue share calculations for U.S. and international clients based on current foreign exchange rates. Need full lifecycle expertise including hands-on sw development is a strong plus. Must have excellent collaboration and communications skills (verbal and written), and a strong history working closely with financial analysts and database developers.
This is a high exposure, full lifecycle project where DFP is a major revenue based data source used in a payment processing and analytics pipeline. There is some Salesforce integration and miscellaneous side work as well – although that may be optional for this position. The main project involves using DFP data to pay Youtube video content partners their ad revenue share. We have an existing, custom (in-house) "ETL" pipeline which feeds DFP data into a database. Based on customizable Sales Fee and contractual parameters, various calculations are performed prior to sending data to a statement generator. We are augmenting the ETL pipeline which involves multiple technical components in SQL, PostgreSQL stored functions and views, Ruby, Python, and Pentaho PDI. Phase 1 (recently completed) focused on the core payment pipeline. Subsequent phases will add more automation to the pipeline, increase configurability based on data from SalesForce, and facilitate additional analytics.
Additional potential work is multi-faceted. For example, one requirement is to leverage DFP to improve targeted marketing down the Youtube channel level, based on a variety of demographics and other viewer attributes, etc. Another example is to determine which of nearly 100 DFP reports is actually used in our company – and migrate them to our central DFP account.
